Sleep Pills vs Sleep Sprays: Which Is The Best?
Hot take: if you’re not taking a supplement at night to help you sleep, then you are way behind the times. Not including a sleep-inducing supplement in your nighttime routine nowadays is equivalent to still using a flip phone in 2022. You don’t want to be that person!
There are definitely a lot of options out there, though. I had trouble narrowing my search for an effective, all-natural sleep aid at the start. My decision ultimately came down to choosing between standard sleep capsules or Rejuvia’s oral sleep spray, so I tried both and broke down the pros and cons of each based on my experiences and found a winner. And it wasn't even close..
For falling asleep more easily: Rejuvia's sleep spray.
This is where the Rejuvia's sleep spray wins by far. I followed the directions as normal: spray 6-8 minty sprays under your tongue, swish around your mouth and then swallow. I did this about twenty minutes before bed, as directed. And let me tell you - I felt like I was already sound asleep after fifteen minutes. The sleep spray worked almost instantaneously. I had never tried a sleep supplement that had such a rapid effect.
I did more research into why the sleep spray works so much faster than drugstore sleep supplements and found out that it’s because the formulas are micro-ionized and absorbed directly under your tongue, as opposed to being absorbed through your digestive system like the sleep supplements are. This makes Rejuvia’s sleep spray over 4x times as effective and powerful as standard sleep capsules!
For deeper, restful sleep: sleep spray.
Rejuvia’s sleep spray is again the winner for better sleep when compared to the sleep capsules. Their oral sleep spray is made of a proprietary, sleep-inducing blend of vitamins, minerals and herbs and really works each night. The best part is that it actually allows you to sleep through the night and not wake up multiple times. It’s been a game changer for me.
The drugstore sleep supplements helped me sleep too. I still woke up once, though, which is better than my normal three wake ups. It would probably be a tie for sleep quality if I didn’t continue waking up in the middle of the night with the standard sleep supplements. But because of that, Rejuvia’s oral sleep spray is the winner.
For convenience: standard sleep supplements.
The one aspect that sleep supplements might have over an oral sleep spray is their convenience. A capsule is simple and easy - all you have to do is pop one in your mouth and swallow with water. That’s all.
A sleep spray has a bit more to it: you spray it 6-8 times under your tongue, swish around your mouth after a few seconds and then swallow. Although the sleep spray tastes like a minty midnight delight and starts putting you to sleep instantaneously, there are a few more steps to it than just swallowing a capsule. It’s also worth noting that the sleep spray only has one flavor - a minty-vanilla blend.
For refreshing morning energy: sleep spray.
There is no question the sleep spray takes the win here. The morning after I tried the sleep spray for the first time, I woke up feeling refreshed, energized and ready to take on the world. I attribute it to the restorative ingredients that Rejuvia includes in their spray - such as feverfew leaf, cramp bark and ginkgo biloba. I hadn’t felt so well-slept and refreshed in a loooong time!
The sleep capsules actually made me feel drowsy and under-slept in the morning. Standard drugstore sleep supplements definitely include way too much melatonin for me, which I found causes my drowsiness and lack of energy in the morning.
The ultimate winner: Rejuvia’s Oral Sleep Spray.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t all that close. The oral sleep spray is a significantly better choice than standard sleep supplements. Rejuvia’s oral sleep spray helps you fall asleep much faster than sleep supplements, actually brings you deep, restful sleep and includes an entire blend of all-natural, organic vitamins, adaptogens and sleep-inducing herbs.
Sleep supplements weren’t all doom and gloom, though. They’re more convenient and easier to take for some people, especially if you aren’t a fan of a minty-vanilla blend before bed. Otherwise, though, the pros of using a sleep spray far outweigh the cons. If you’re looking to finally start sleeping better and enjoying nights full of rest again, I highly recommend trying Rejuvia’s sleep spray today.
